VISITING LONDON
Earlier this week I spent two days in London visiting a friend. A slightly spontaneous visit, we ventured around London and visited a few places before going out for cocktails in the evening.
I don't visit London that often, but on occasion when I do, I absolutely love exploring the city- there is always so much to see and do. I wanted to visit so many places but there isn't enough time in the day to do everything!
After lunch in Wimbledon, we headed out to Oxford Street and walked to Liberty. I have always seen pictures of this department store but never went inside. It's full of very expensive products, but if you are feeling spendy this is definitely the place to go. Plus the flower display outside is so pretty!
We also walked down Carnaby Street as it's just a round the corner, which ultimately meant going into Brandy Melville and having to restrain myself from buying everything in the store...
I would highly recommend visiting the Cereal Killer Cafe, which I had been wanting to visit for ages. Located down Brick Lane in Shoreditch area, it's a discreet little cafe along the road. I would also recommend downloading the app Citymapper as it saved us from getting lost that day! It's fairly small inside, with a downstairs seating area with beds and cereal displays all over the walls along with old tv's playing Hey Arnold made it very reminiscent of my childhood days. I had the chocopottumus- coco pops, krave and a kind happy hippo, which was so yum but it was quite strange eating it at five in the evening!
In the evening we went to Dirty Martini in Monument, the passionfruit martini and blueberry and basil cocktail are both amazing!
Let me know your favourite places to visit in London!
