CURRENT FAVOURITES #2

Although this month has been dull and gloomy, I have been loving a few things despite the post Christmas blues. Some of these I have been loving from last year, so I thought I would write a well and truly due post on my current favourites.

Makeup wise, I fairly recently bought the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara. I have always heard its been a good budget one, so I decided to try it out. I got the waterproof version as they always hold a curl so much better. It doesn't smudge or flake off throughout the day and I love that you can make your lashes natural, or build it up for a more dramatic effect.

The two Laura Mercier products I have also been loving, have been the Cheek Mélange in 'Sensual Reflections'. I think this is a Autumn/Winter collection limited addition product, so I think they no longer sell it. But it's a pretty mauvey blush that adds a lovely glow and warmth to the face on these dull Wintery days. I recently purchased the Mineral Powder in 'Real Sand'. This was a pretty expensive product, however I do think it's worth the money. It adds coverage and keeps your skin looking naturally matte, so it is perfect for oily skin like mine. 

On my recent ski trip, I wanted a lip balm that would quickly sort out dry, chapped lips. I decided to go for the Papaya Gold Paw Paw lip balm one as the reviews looked promising. This really helped with my dry lips in the cold conditions over my holiday. I would 100% recommend.

Lastly, I have been constantly wearing this tartan New Look blanket scarf. It keeps me warm when I have to trek into Uni on cold days.
